Chapter Ten
The first difference is that in the movie, the lion woke up before Dorothy, but in the book, the lion woke up after her. The second difference is that in the movie, The witch of the North made it snow, so that the friends would wake up, but in the book, they just woke up on their own. The third difference is that in the movie, a man answered the door, but in the book, a lady answered the door. The fourth difference is that in the movie, Dorothy didn't ask to sleep over, but in the book, when she knocked the door, she was already in the Emerald City. The fifth difference is that in the movie, when they got into the big building, they got to ride a carriage with horses that would change colors. The sixth difference is that in the movie, the friends never ate dinner, but in the book, they slept there and ate dinner. The seventh difference is that in the movie, the Emerald City wasn't in the sky, but I guess in the book, it was. The eighth difference is that in the movie, the witch came before the friends were at the Emerald City, but in the book, she came probably after they got there, or she never came again. The ninth difference is that in the movie, the friends never had to wear the blinding things, because in the movie, the Emerald City didn't glow.
