The first difference in between the movie and the book of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is that in the movie, the title is The Wizard of Oz, but in the book, it's called The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
The second difference is that in the movie, there was no river, but in the book, there was.
The third difference is that in the movie, they went right to the flowers, but in the book, they had to cross a river first.
The fourth difference is that in the movie, the scarecrow never got stuck, but in the book, he did.
The fifth difference is that in the movie, the friends never said Tol/de/ri/de/oh/, but in the book, they did.
The sixth difference is that in the movie, the witch was the one that made them fall asleep, but in the book, it was the flowers.
The seventh difference is that in the movie, the tin woodman had cried, which made him rust, but in the book, he didn't cry.
The eighth difference is that in the movie, the poppies were white, but in the book, the poppies were red and pink.
