I have not written about much that we've done in school for awhile, so I'm going to tell you a little bit about the things we did.
One of the things we did was that we went to a dinosaur museum and got to see a bunch of fossils of dinosaurs, and one of my favorite ones was the t-rex's skull. It was really, really, REALLY big. Another favorite one was the-oh, I forgot the name of it, but it has a horn on its nose, and it has these curvy things on its head that are sticking up. That was another one of my favorite ones. But one of the things about that museum is that it's kinda small.
Another thing that we did is Daisy (our dog) had puppies! There are three of them, and they're all chocolates (in color) and, they're all girls! I'm really excited for when they open their eyes, and I hope they aren't all gone very soon, but they are a lot of work to take care of. One of my favorite things to do to take care of them is taking them outside, especially in the spring and the summer, when it's warm enough to climb trees, ride my bike, and do cartwheels in the grass.
Another thing that we did was a Doctor Seuss party, on March first, and we read a bunch of Doctor Seuss books, and after each one, we would do different things, like someone would do their favorite character, and someone would do the setting, the problem, the solution, and so on. Then we would pass the papers around and read the next book. Soon, we would have a list of things on each line, and we would take turns closing our eyes and pointing to a line, and then we would circle it with a crayon. Then, we could make our own Doctor Seuss story! (That is the story called "In my Mouth".) it was silly. My mom also made a grinchy cake. She makes really good cakes. (And bread, and soup, and everything!)
Another thing that we did was we finished reading The Wizard of Oz, and so we got to watch the movie of The wizard of Oz, with popcorn for lunch while we were watching.
I think that is all of the things that we did since the last time I wrote. I hope you can reply! Thanks for reading!
Sounds like you are having a great time with Homeschool! Its fun to shear about all the things you do. I hope on our spring break we can stop by and see you and of course the new puppies!
