When Annie and her dad got to the house, her dad asked her how she went up so high and why she went up high. "Well, one of my friends from my class at lunch asked me if I wanted some orange juice, and, of course, I accepted it, and then I started to float up in the air." "How did that happen?" asked her dad. "I don't know," replied Annie. "I just floated up in the air, and there was a window that was open, and I just went right through it. Then I saw you, flying in the air, and so, then, you saved me." "How do you think you started floating?" asked her dad. "I think it had something to do with the orange juice that I ate, but I'm not exactly sure." "Okay, well, let's go ask Mom and see what she thinks," said Dad. So, they went to ask Annie's mom and told her what happened. Mom didn't know about any of it, and so they just didn't worry about it.
The next day, when it was lunchtime, another one of Annie's friends, named Emily, asked her if she wanted to have her orange juice. Of course, Annie accepted it, and then, when they went to their classroom after lunch, Annie started to hiccup. Hic, hic, hic! she went, and she tried to sit quietly in her seat, but soon the hiccups were so bad that she was jumping in her seat! "Why are you jumping up and down like that?" asked her teacher, Miss Manny. "I-hic! I--"Okay, so you have the hiccups. Now why are you jumping in your seat?" Before Annie could answer, (or at least try to answer) she jumped so high that all of the rest of the kids couldn't focus on their work. Soon, Annie jumped so high that she flew right through a window again! But this time, instead of floating, she was bouncing! Then, she bounced right into the house, where her Mom was.
Annie couldn't say anything. She had too many hiccups. But, when she'd gotten in the house, her mom was scared, so she yelled, AAh! which scared Annie and took away her hiccups.
